Modest women want to have more fun shopping! That's the goal of Biblical Garden.
Modest women have a hard time shopping for clothes - looking through hundreds of items in dozens of stores just to find the few things on offer that meet our standards of modesty is no fun. So I thought, I'll get every modest dress, skirt and top on the internet and put them all into one website where you can browse for the styles and colors you love, instead of slogging through the masses of unwearable clothing in the typical online store.
Back in 2001 there were a handful of home seamstresses online offering to sew modest clothing, and my site was a pioneer in the modest clothing business. It ran as a sideline in my life, after my part-time job and caring for my growing family - the store went up after the birth of my seventh child and continued to be updated sporadically through the births of my 8th and 9th children.
After 8 years online I took the plunge and purchased some clothes to sell directly to you, instead of referring you to other stores. I recruited a wonderful seamstress who has been sewing modest swim suits here in Tsfat, Israel for years and together we redesigned her suits to create the sportiest and most figure flattering modest swimsuit anywhere! I designed a swim skirt that is longer and drapier than any other swim skirt I've seen. I pray that my store will touch the lives of modest women everywhere, bringing the fun back into shopping for modest clothes.
